As a point of interest, I did exactly this in a mall in Brighton in 2001 (just found more). It was horrible, knackering and took us all day. But then we were in fancy dress which was clearly much better than being in sweaty lycra, even if it goes with having the confidence to schedule only 4/5 of the world record time..
