Recently I've been running Speedfan, a natty little temperature monitoring utility I procured for free from Download.com, to keep tabs on my computer on sunny days. This morning, as a pre-emptive measure, I got my suped-up fan going (see previous entry) nice and early and decided to log the temperature changes. Expecting a uniform decrease in temperature I was a little surprised by the graph above, which begins as I switched the fan on. Notice the grey line. What on Earth is going on there?
